Grow Gourmet Mushrooms at Home

Join us at Heidi’s GrowHaus to learn about growing gourmet mushrooms at home. The first portion of the class will cover ways to grow your own edible and medicinal mushrooms with resources you have at home. Learn about the different types of mushroom cultivation, tree and media selection, mushroom types that are easily cultivated, spawn run, how and when to inoculate and force fruiting your log-based mushrooms. The second part of the class is hands on. Participants will be inoculating their own perennial shiitake mushroom log to take home.
