Seed Starting Basics

Starting from seed is a great way to increase the variety of plants you enjoy in your garden. Join us to learn about techniques for starting herbs, vegetables, and flowers from seeds during winter, both indoors and outdoors, using a variety of growing mediums, containers, and light sources. Find out how to transplant seedlings and how to deal with problems seed starters may encounter. Class attendees will receive seeds to take home and start themselves.
